Established in 2003:
Open Security Exchange is a Not-for-profit § 501(c)(3) association of security experts that provides a forum for A&E firms, consultants, end-users, government agencies, manufacturers, system integrators, and allied organizations to mutually define opportunities for Convergence & Interoperability.
OSE offers its Members an opportunity to shape and impact the future of Physical & IT Security Convergence. Our Members represent a cross-section of Physical & Logical Security organizations from both the public & private sectors. As an OSE member, you will be able to participate in the defining solutions for Convergence with other thought leaders in the industry.
As you and your associates evaluate the Open Security Exchange Membership for your company, please note the OSE goals outlined within this document and the attached brochure, which clearly defines the value of membership. There is a very compelling business case to justify your General Membership; here are just a few:
- General Members may participate on the Board of Directors responsible for driving convergence industry initiatives, developing, and voting on the strategic plan of the organization;
- General Members can have as many individuals participate in any of the working groups or sub-committees as they deem valuable.
Through OSE sponsored activities such as our Convergence Council, industry work-groups and educational seminars the OSE is a force for thought leadership and education on convergence topics. In addition, only OSE Members have access to our web-based Convergence Roadmap™ tool. This interactive program helps security practitioners and service providers alike understand the myriad issues and potential solutions for achieving physical and IT security convergence.
